Small Steps Celebrates Thanksgiving!
Small Steps’ students, families, and staff gathered yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving. The students performed multiple Thanksgiving themed songs and afterwards we all enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared for us by the Black-eyed Pea restaurant. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, board members, and auxiliary members who helped us serve food, greet families, and have a great time! A big thanks to the Black-eyed Pea restaurant for donating food for 300 people for our Thanksgiving meal!
In the photo above, students perform the song “I am Thankful” for their families before lunch.
Dedrick and his family enjoy the beautiful weather and great food!
In the above photo, John Stilwell, Robert Magner, Jonathan Gregory and Lucy Leonard serve Small Steps’ students and their families lunch.
Students spent all week painting The Small Steps Tree of Thanks, giving thanks for family, my home, volunteers, food, Jesus, my life, etc.
More photos from our Thanksgiving Feast can be found on our website in the photo gallery.
