2011 Small Steps Clays Classic a Record-Breaking Event!
Thank you so much to our co-chairs, Jim Wicklund and Marshall Adkins, and our generous supporters for making the 2011 Small Steps Clays Classic, benefiting Small Steps Nurturing Center, such a success! Over $470,000 was raised for Small Steps, which made the 2011 SSCC a record-breaking event! A BIG thank you goes to our generous sponsors, steering committee, volunteers, and to the great Robert Duvall for coming out and signing an auction item for us.
The Clays Classic, held at American Shooting Center, hosted over 250 shooters from our corporate sponsors for a great day of clays shooting, networking, great food, and amazing door prizes (we give away a lot of them!). Not to mention the auction items that included a Manor Lake getaway trip donated by Halliburton, four hours on a private jet courtesy of Landmark Aviation, and a replica of a Lonesome Dove gun autographed by Robert Duvall. These three items raised almost $20,000 for Small Steps!
