Spanish Speaking Volunteers Needed!

March 25, 2011

Partners in Educational Advocacy, a ministry of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, is seeking volunteers with Spanish language proficiency to serve as advocates for Small Steps’ families navigating the public school special education process.  Many of the families we serve are Spanish speaking only, and we are in dire need of individuals who can communicate effectively with these families. All training in the special education process will be provided by Partners, and ongoing support, assistance and guidance for the volunteer advocates is available. If interested in finding out more, please contact Suzette Harrel at 713-501-4703 or suzharrel@comcast.net.
