Small Steps Celebrates New Class of Graduates!!
Congratulations to the new class of 2011 Small Steps Graduates! We are so proud of all our students. We will miss all of them dearly, but cannot wait to see what God has in His plan for them. We ask all of our Small Steps supporters to please pray for all of our graduates as they continue on their journey.
Please join us in this prayer from our Graduation Ceremony today:
Papa God,
We lift up these precious children into your loving care. Let your purpose prevail in their lives. Keep them growing in wisdom and understanding. Help them discern between right and wrong.
Fulfill your purpose for them, Lord. They are the handiwork of your creation. You have wonderfully made each one with special gifts. Motivate them to make cheerful and wise use of their gifts and talents in service to others. Fill them with a spirit of love, kindness, compassion, and self-discipline.
Wherever they go, whatever they do, keep them safely in your presence. Let no harm come to them. Surround them with teachers and adults who will watch over and encourage them. Cause these students to obey their teachers and coaches and submit to their authority. Help them to choose friends carefully. And, to be good friends to others.
Cause them to live in harmony with their brothers and sisters. Teach them to honor their mothers and fathers.
Do more in their lives than we can even imagine. Glorify yourself through their lives and for generations to come.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
