3rd Annual Small Steps Ultimate Wine Classic
Please join us for the 3rd Annual Small Steps Ultimate Wine Classic on Thursday, April 26, 2012. We will be honoring John Rathmell, Jr., former Small Steps Board Chair, for his commitment and strong leadership at Small Steps. The Wine Classic is a festive evening filled with opportunities for fellowship with friends and fellow supporters of Small Steps.
Joining us for a second year, Paul Roberts, Master Sommelier and Director at BOND Estates, formerly of Café Annie, The French Laundry, and Per Se, will be leading us in an evening featuring distinctive wines expertly paired with delicious foods and a wine education experience unlike any other. We would greatly appreciate your support of Small Steps Nurturing Center through a sponsorship of this event.
Our Honoree, Mr. Rathmell, served on the Board of Directors of Small Steps for ten years, from 2001 to 2010, including seven years as Board President. During the time that John served on the Small Steps board, the school’s budget tripled. His leadership was critical to the success of Small Steps’ programs and the school’s ability to grow the number of children it serves.
