Small Steps Goes to the Farm Small Steps Goes to the Farm
Our 2- and 3-year-old students, who have been learning about animals, recently got to see the real thing! Classes from both campuses visited Old McDonald's Farm at the end of March. We are so grateful to all of our parent volunteers who joined us for the field trip! It was a great way for the children to explore and for the parents to have quality time with them at the same time.

Pennies for Peace Pennies for Peace
Our Kindergarten students at Small Steps’ DePelchin campus have been reading Listen to the Wind, an early reader’s version of the story of Greg Mortenson and his efforts to build schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The children responded to this moving story by deciding to collect pennies that will contribute to community-based education and literacy programs in remote mountain regions of Central Asia.
