Champions Golf Club and Northgate Country Club
The Small Steps Energy Classic is a premier charity golf tournament in Houston held each October at Champions Golf Club and Northgate Country Club. Since the first tournament in 1996, the Classic has raised over $8,500,000 for Small Steps Nurturing Center.
Last year, over 120 corporations, foundations, and individuals sponsored the Energy Classic in support of Houston’s economically at-risk, inner city children. A big draw of this event is the opportunity to network and market with industry colleagues including senior representation from every segment of the oil and gas industry. Additionally, the Energy Classic is a first-class business entertainment event that is well known for the large number of great door prizes given away at the awards dinner following the tournament.
